ORIS brand ambassador Anna von Boetticher sets a new record in the World Freediving Championships!

 More than 150 players from 30 different countries came to the Greek town of Kalamata to compete for the medals of the Aida World Free Diving Championship in the azure Messinian bay.

 The German free diving champion and ORIS brand ambassador Anna Von Boetticher is looking forward to breaking the record of 76 meters in depth with a fixed weight. However, Anna was unfortunately injured in her foot ten days before the game. During the rest period, she needed to avoid foot contact with water. Until the game, Anna was still unable to train, which made her disadvantaged in the game. Anna put on her single-fin fins again a few hours before the game. She endured pain to dive to 81 meters. The results surprised other players. Not only did she set a new record in Germany, she also won this game. Fifth place in the event.

 After her first successful dive, Anna regained her confidence and performed well in the free diving event on the last day of the race. In the free diving project, the diver dived by pulling the rope. Anna dived to 73 meters in the clear waters, winning the third place in this competition, and also brought her the bronze medal of the third world diving competition.
